Parking

Street Parking in the village is limited; there is a ‘Pay and Display’ car park in West Street and there is the Castle View Car & Coach Park (National Trust) at the foot of the Castle, or you can use the Park & Ride at Norden, which is about half a mile from the village where you can catch the steam train to the village.

The Park & Ride at Norden is a unique example of a rural transport system that really works. Developed by Swanage Railway in conjunction with Purbeck District Council, there is space for over 250 cars, coach parking, a visitor centre and children’s play area. This award-winning facility is currently free of charge.
