This year’s CorFest celebrations include a variety of fun filled activities and entertainment for all ages, this year centred on the Castle. For many more details please see our brand new website www.corfest.co.uk
To whet your appetite, listed below are just a few of the fabulous events in CorFest11:
- Friday 10th June: Schools Music and Dance. Pupils from several local schools perform in the Castle Grounds. FREE ENTRY.
- Saturday 11th June: “CorFest in the Castle”. Local arts and craft stalls, Pet and Dog Show organised by the MGFT, “Jigsaw” children’s entertainer, face painting,musicandentertainmentallafternoon. Allday-FREEentrytothe Castle Grounds!
- Sunday 12th June: A special open air “Songs of Praise” service will be held in the Castle Grounds.
- It’s a CorFest Knockout – teams of 8 compete in a number of “less than serious” games -tho’ still hotly contested! Venue: Sports Field in West Street. Contact Ian in the Post Office for more details. Hog Roast afterwards to restore the energy.
