Winter Lights at the Castle

The castle will be open until 7pm, weather permitting.

You can also share your special memory or wish and place it on one of our ‘Christmas Wish’ trees. We’ll be offering tasters of mulled wine. You can also enjoy festive treats by the log fire in our tea-rooms and browse the Christmas gifts in our shop.

Please note winter lights on 21st December is cancelled.

Event ticket prices
This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.

Suitability
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Dogs on leads are welcome.
If you’re visiting after dusk please bring a torch for the walk from the car park up to the castle.
The interactive storyteller will take you through the castle; there are steps, steep slopes, and uneven paths. There is wheelchair access to the outer bailey only.
